Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Ingredients:
- 200g of spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 50ml of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Pot
- Colander
- Frying Pan
- Wooden Spoon
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced garlic to the pan and sauté until it turns golden brown, taking care not to burn it.
- Once the garlic is golden, add the chili flakes and cook for an additional minute to release their flavor.
- When the pasta is ready, reserve some pasta water and drain the rest using a colander.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the frying pan with the garlic and oil. Toss well to ensure the pasta is coated evenly.
- If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency. Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
