Mango Sticky Rice

Ingredients:
- 200g of glutinous rice
- 1 ripe mango
- 200ml of coconut milk
- 50g of sugar
- a pinch of salt
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Saucepan
- Steamer
- Serving dishes
Instructions:
- Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Soak the rice in water for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Drain the soaked rice and place it in a steamer lined with muslin or a clean cloth.
- Steam the rice for about 10-15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and glossy.
- In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and pinch of salt. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved, do not boil.
- Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and pour about 2/3 of the coconut milk mixture over it. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavor.
- Peel and slice the ripe mango into thin strips.
- To serve, place some sticky rice on a plate, top with mango slices, and drizzle with the remaining coconut milk mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
