Soya Mixed Noodles
Ingredients:
- 200g of noodles
- 100g of soya chunks
- 50g of bell peppers
- 50g of carrots
- 30g of green onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Wok
- Spoon
- Knife
- Cutting Board
- Measuring Cups
Instructions:
- Boil water in a pot and cook the noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Soak the soya chunks in hot water for about 10 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- In a wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the soaked soya chunks to the wok and stir-fry for a few minutes until they begin to golden brown.
- Add sliced bell peppers and carrots, and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
- Incorporate the cooked noodles into the wok and drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the mixture. Toss everything together until evenly combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.
